Coliseum Redo Underway
Star Tribune and Watson-Forsberg
The renovation of the Coliseum will provide significant opportunities for the Lake Street corridor which will continue the buildings’, “legacy of community support”. The building will consist of 25 affordable rents for small businesses owned by people of color. It will include, “…a restaurant affiliated with Du Nord, as well as the reopening of Mama Safia’s, a Somali-themed restaurant. There will be a hair salon and barber shop. And an event center.” We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work on this community-focused project as we live out our Core Values, specifically, “Care for Others”. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact this building will have on the community, BIPOC ownership and small businesses involved.
